Our Economic Empowerment Division seeks an amazing candidate for the following position:

Seniors Program Coordinator – help improve Seniors’ quality of life!
Responsible for the coordination and management of the Senior Program.  The employee’s primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·   Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services-related field, such as social work, nursing, public administration or gerontology and one-year of professional or internship experience working with older adults; OR

·   Two-year certificate or degree in a human services-related field or a community health certificate and three-years of experience working with older adults; OR

·   Five years of relevant professional experience working with older adults or at a nursing facility, assisted living, hospital, home care, lead agency, etc.

·   Valid Driver’s license and favorable background study completed

·   Must be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by the first day of employment with the agency (medical and religious exemptions will be considered)..

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·   Bachelor’s Degree in field relating to Human Services

·   Experience in a leadership role

·   Possess an understanding and working knowledge of issues relating to the Senior Population

·   Previous experience working with a Community Action Partnership Agency or other grant funded programs
