ERSEA/Family Support Specialist

The ERSEA/Family Support Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing planning development, implementation, and coordination of the WCCA Head Start Family and Community Partnership Services. This position ensures that the program complies with Head Start Performance Standards regarding eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance, DHS regulations, and MDE regulations. This position is responsible for identifying families and children in need and supervises WCCA Head Start activities designed to meet identified needs, such as parent involvement, anti-violence, literacy, and transportation.

Education and Experience:

Degree in the field of Social Services, Human Services or a related field or an equivalent level of experience, education and training.
Recent work experience in the identification of family needs and the provision or coordination of family services for low-income families with young children.

Salary range – $47,840 – $52,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
