Stress and burnout impact staff retention and outcomes for children and families; however, mental health-related expenditures are rarely intentionally included in the program budget. In this session, we will review the IMs that support workforce wellness, walk through the process of creating a mental health-related program goal, identify relevant budget items, and write a budget narrative to support the funding of mental health services that ultimately impact staff well-being and program quality.
