Events

Many children we serve have experienced early trauma, which impacts their social-emotional development and ability to learn. This session will offer staff guidance on identifying signs and symptoms of early trauma and strategies to create safe, consistent, nurturing environments to support children's regulation. We will also discuss systems to put into place to make timely referrals to mental health professionals as needed for additional support.

AUDIENCE: Tribal Leaders, Head Start/Early Head Start Directors, Managers/Coordinators, Mental Health Consultants, Teaching and Home Visiting Staff.
