Events

Head Start directors, management teams, fiscal staff, and tribal leaders are invited to join the RXI Five Year Grant Webinar Series, which is offered quarterly. During each five-day event, daily work sessions will be held to increase understanding of the Five Year Grant v 3.01 process. There will be many opportunities to ask specific questions to support completing a fundable application. During the first two sessions, participants will learn about the community assessment and the role the governing body and policy council play in the development of program goals and the overall grant process.

The remainder of the work sessions during the week will focus on completing the process and reviewing programmatic and fiscal requirements and necessary documentation. Whether you are working on a baseline or continuation application, are experienced, or are brand new to this work, you will find valuable information. Bring your questions with you to the work sessions!

Daily Work Sessions:

• Day 1: Connecting the Community Assessment to the HS Grant Application
• Day 2: Role of Governing Body in Five Year Grant process including Five Year Goals
• Day 3: Focus on Programmatic Narrative including TTA Plan
• Day 4: Focus on Fiscal including Cost Allocation Plan
• Day 5: Fundable Application: Putting it All Together for a Timely Submission
