Full Job Description: Who you are: You love working with all ages, from children to grownups, to build positive relationships You have excellent communication skills including speaking and listening skills You have patience and can respond calmly when facing challenging situations You have great organizational skills You are a compassionate person who cares about others A day in the life: You do home visits and help parents engage with their children in learning activities You’ll help families work on achieving their goals You’ll provide developmental information unique to each child You’ll build on families’ strengths to create positive interactions You’ll advocate for families to receive services and resources, as needed Qualifications: You’ll need a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, and to have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. You must have transportation available to attend meetings and home visits as appropriate. Wages: You’ll be eligible for a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to make a difference in the community. Full-time 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits. With a Child Development Associate Credential: $19.58 - $27.41/hr; 2-year associate’s degree: $20.95 - $29.32/hr; 4-year degree: $23.98 - $33.57/hr. Preferred experience working with children birth to age 5. Flexible schedule based on program needs.
