Full Job Description: Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc is seeking an experienced and mission-driven leader to serve as Head Start Director. The senior leadership role offers the opportunity to guide high-quality early childhood and family services that make a meaningful difference for children, families, and communities across much of Minnesota and parts of North Dakota. We are looking for a candidate with direct Head Start experience who understands the importance of strong program operations, compliance, family engagement, and staff leadership. Experience with Migrant and Seasonal Head Start is highly valued and will be considered a strong asset. The ideal candidate will bring thoughtful leadership, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to supporting teams, strengthening systems, and advancing program excellence. This position includes multi-site oversight and regular travel. Spanish speaking and writing skills are desirable. Job Summary (optional): The Head Start Director has the primary responsibility for coordinating, assuring effective implementation and evaluation of services designed to meet the needs of children and families participating in Head Start Programs. This is performed under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and in line with Tri-Valley’s philosophy, mission, and goals. This position also markets, promotes and represents Tri-Valley's programs and services within the Head Start community.
