Full Job Description: Head Start Director To plan and implement learning experiences that advance the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children to promote school readiness. Support families in accessing necessary resources, completing program requirements, setting and achieving goals, and being involved in their child’s education. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Family Science or related field • Minimum of two years proven administrative experience in a supervisory capacity • Minimum of three – five years Head Start Experience • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance Preferred Qualifications: • Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) • Advanced degree in Early Childhood Family Science or related field • Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes
