Description

The Nett Lake Center has one HS classroom with three-year-old’s and four-year old’s combined. We currently serve 20 HS children and 14 EHS in Nett Lake. Transportation is provided for HS families, but not EHS families. The Vermilion Center has a three-year-old classroom and a four-year-old classroom. The Vermilion center completed the renovation/expansion that includes an Early Head Start program and opened in January 2017. We currently serve 20 Head Start children and 16 EHS children in Vermilion. Transportation is provided to all Head Start families, but not EHS families. The Bois Forte Head Start program is a nine-month design with transportation offered (excluding EHS-CC). Families receive social services, advocacy, school readiness, disabilities, health, and safety services from their individual classroom teacher, family services manager, and health & safety manager and education & disabilities manager. The Bois Forte Early Head Start program is a year-round program serving infants and toddlers.
