Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. (BI-CAP) is seeking a Head Start Toddler Teacher in Bemidji, MN

If you’re interested in teaching toddlers (16 months to 3 years old) in a classroom setting and building positive relationships with children and families, this job could be for you!

This is a full-time year-round position.

As a teacher you’ll help develop the classroom environment; you’ll plan and implement daily activities and assessments; you’ll observe and record child development and behaviors; and you’ll work side-by-side with a co-teacher, an aide and volunteers in the classroom.

Requirements: You’ll need a minimum of a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA); or a 2 or 4 year degree in Early Childhood Education; or a degree in a related field, with early childhood teaching experience.

Must have a strong commitment to BI-CAP’s values of collaboration, innovation and compassion as well as a respect for diversity. Applicants must pass a DHS Background Study and meet DHS & MN Rule 3 licensing requirements.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, year round, $14.27 -$17.97/hour depending on qualifications, with benefits.
