Our Fiscal Division is seeking to offer the following opportunity:

Finance Specialist
Under the direction of the Finance Specialist, this position is responsible for administering key finance and accounting functions for the organization. The position is a process focused role that will promote and maintain efficient, effective, and standardized functions that support organizational programs serving low-income individuals and facility in the community. This position will also work closely with financial leadership in the organization in developing and implementing projects to continually improve and meet the needs of the organization. Minimum Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field

§ Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel.  Should be very comfortable with pivot tables, filters, tables, lookup, match, if statements and other functions.

§ Two Years work experience with all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Payroll.  Experience and working knowledge of computers, computerized financial software, spreadsheets, and word processing software

§ Must be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by first day of employment with the agency (qualified religious or medical exemptions will be considered)

§ Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

§ Knowledge of and ability to understand and follow generally accepted accounting principles and general accounting practices

§ Maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy; flexible; confidential; and work well under pressure

§ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

§ Prior experience or ability to construct and deliver concise, meaningful reports and presentations to multiple levels of the organizations, including leadership and governance
